A JOURNEY OF ENDURANCE. A MISSION OF PURPOSE
The long Road to Nordkapp is more than a motorcycle trip. It is a 5,000+ mile expedition from Plymouth to the Arctic and back, undertaken to raise funds and awareness for Veterans in Action.
Across eight countries and 24 days, I will face wild landscapes, extreme weather, long days in the saddle and the challenges that come with life on the road. Every mile is ridden for a reason.

ABOUT THE EXPEDITION
THE JOURNEY OVERVIEW
Leaving Plymouth in June 2027, the Darren will travel through the UK and across Europe before heading into Scandinavia. He’ll cross the Arctic Circle and reach Nordkapp – one of the most northernmost points you can reach by road. The return route takes him south through Sweden before finishing where it all began.
The expedition will be completely self-sufficient, wild camping and relying on preparation and determination to keep moving forward.

CHALLENGE
A true test of endurance across varied terrain, weather and distance.

PURPOSE
Every mile raises funds and awareness for Veterans in Action and the work they do.

TEAMWORK
Riders and all support back at home help me progress, every mile safely.

DOCUMENTED
The full journey will be captured through photos, stories and daily updates.

SELF-SUFFICIENT
Wild camping, carrying what I need and respecting the environment we pass.

Inspiring others, supporting veterans and leaving a lasting impact.
