The Long Road to Nordkapp

£2.49

The Long Road to Nordkapp is the anthem of a 5,000-mile solo motorcycle expedition from Plymouth to the North Cape of Norway in support of Veterans in Action. A song about endurance, reflection and finding the strength to keep moving forward, it captures the spirit of the open road and the belief that however difficult the journey becomes, there is always another horizon ahead.

Description

The Long Road to Nordkapp is more than a song about riding a motorcycle across Europe. It is about the road behind you, the road still ahead, and the reasons you keep moving when stopping would be easier.

Written as the anthem for The Long Road to Nordkapp 2027, the song captures the spirit of a solo 5,000-mile motorcycle expedition from Plymouth to the North Cape of Norway and back. It follows a journey through changing landscapes, long days in the saddle, unpredictable weather and the vast wilderness of Scandinavia, eventually reaching Nordkapp at the edge of the Arctic Ocean beneath the midnight sun.

But the physical journey is only part of the story.

At its heart, The Long Road to Nordkapp is about endurance, reflection and purpose. It is about carrying the experiences of the past without allowing them to determine where theย road ends. Every mile represents another opportunity to think, remember and move forward.

The expedition is being undertaken in support of Veterans in Action, recognising veterans who continue to fight battles long after their military service has ended. The song reflects that same determination: that whatever has happened before, there can still be another road, another horizon and another reason to keep going.

From Plymouth to the Arctic Circle, through the Norwegian mountains and finally to the iconic globe at Nordkapp, this is the soundtrack to a journey measured not simply in miles, but in purpose.

One rider. One motorcycle. 5,000 miles. One long road north.
