What started as a conversation between friends has grown into something much bigger. The Long Road to Nordkapp is not simply a motorcycle journey from Plymouth to the northernmost point of mainland Europe. Instead, it is a challenge, a fundraiser, a test of endurance, and an opportunity to shine a light on the incredible work carried out by Veterans in Action.
In June 2027, a rider from the Widows Sons Pilgrims Chapter and supporters of the cause will set out on an expedition. This journey will take them across thousands of miles, through multiple countries, and over mountain passes. Moreover, they will travel across Arctic landscapes and all the way to Nordkapp, Norway.
Along the route, we will be documenting every step of the adventure. The successes, the setbacks, the weather, the roads, the campsites, the friendships, and the stories make journeys like this unforgettable. As a result, this website will become the home of that story.
Most importantly, we are riding to raise awareness and funds for Veterans in Action. This charity is dedicated to supporting veterans and their families through practical assistance, activities, and opportunities. In doing so, they help rebuild confidence, purpose, and community.
